Deborah is a USA TODAY best-selling author of The Poppy Field. Out now with HarperCollins Holland as Een Veld Vol Klaprozen. She was described as ‘One to Watch’ by Good Housekeeping magazine when her debut WW1 romance, Broken Faces was runner-up in the 2012 Good Housekeeping Novel Writing Competition and writes historical fiction for HarperCollins’ division, One More Chapter. Her new series is inspired by Florence Boot, the wife of Jesse Boot, founder of Boots the Chemist. Mrs Boots (Mrs Boots, Book 1) and Mrs Boots of Pelham Street (Mrs Boots, Book 2) are out now with Book 3, Mrs Boots Goes To War and her WW2 standalone, An Island At War, set during the Jersey Occupation will be published in 2021.
As Georgina Troy, she was a finalist in the Romantic Novel of the Year Awards 2016 (RoNAs) and the RNA Joan Hessayon Award for New Writers 2015 with her book, A Jersey Kiss.
She writes psychological suspense as Ella Drummond for Hera Books. My Last Lie and The Darkest Summer are out now.
